Our team consisted of educators, basketball coaches, and youth advocates. While basketball is commonly recognized as a sport, More Than A Game recognized an opportunity to prepare young people for life beyond the court. With shared values between life and basketball, our commitment remained consistent in nurturing champions on and off the court. More Than A Game leveraged basketball as a tool to develop and provide resources for young people. Through a range of offerings including workshops, tailored programming, and community support, MTAG has championed the cause of over 2,000 students in the Grand Rapids area.
